Sensei Rick Savagian is President and Chief Instructor of Mountainside Martial Arts. A graduate from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in Physical Education and Exercise Physiology. He was member of the U.W.L Track and Field team during his undergrad years. Sensei Rick's involvement in the Valley of the Sun community included being a mamber of the Arizona Leukemia Board, and a member of the Fiesta Bowl committee since 1985. His teaching experience included South Mountain Community College (Instructor), University of Arizona (Adjunct Professor), University of Wisconsin - La Crosse (Assistant Coach), and Arizona State University (Assistant Coach). |
